Hornets for Hope is a Recognized Student Organization at Emporia State University. Our mission is to provide suicide prevention awareness to students, faculty, and staff across campus. We pride ourselves on connecting with fellow students who understand the pressures of balancing school, work, relationships, families, and other responsibilities.

MEET THE PRESIDENT
"Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am a senior majoring in Psychology at Emporia State University. I am the President for Hornets for Hope this year!
Mental Health is a priority for me as someone pursing a career in clinical psychology, and as someone who has experienced mental health struggles of my own.
Hornets for Hope is important because we have all been affected by suicide in some way. Whether you have lost a family member, friend, or an acquaintance - it is likely you know someone that has died by suicide.
I am proud to represent Hornets for Hope as Club Present and am so grateful to have the opportunity to have the opportunity to make life-saving resources more accessible to college students."
